Braces & Cross Braces for Stretcher Bars – Stability for Large Formats
The essential reinforcement for your stretcher frames
The intermediate strip is inconspicuous, but important! Also known as the middle, cross or support strip, it stabilizes the stretcher frame for larger formats. Above all, it prevents the stretcher frame strips from bending inwards when there is high tension on the picture surface, especially when the fabric absorbs moisture when painting. Recommended and important for use with picture formats of around 100cm or more. Made from multiple glued and finger-jointed wood, it offers maximum stability and durability.
